Our Senior Controls Engineers have strong technical expertise including Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming which are required skills for this opportunity. A-B PLC Motion, Ignition, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, hardware design and documentation, including power distribution and component sizing, motion control and electrical panel QC experience is highly preferred. This position is responsible for managing and overseeing engineering project scopes, budgets and expectations, and designing systems.

This position requires up to 30% travel to support customers and is additionally responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting sales and marketing.

Education and/or Experience

  • BS Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; and five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A-B PLC Robotic Applications, Vision experience a plus
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • High proficiency level in Office 365, PLC, PC and HMI programming ability is required

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • A-B PLC Motion (Kinetix or other Servo drives)
  • Ignition, FactoryTalk View SE/ME
  • Siemens
  • Hardware design and documentation, including power distribution and component sizing
  • Motion control and panel QC preferred

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Travel up to 25% to support project and sales requirements.
  • Valid, insurable Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to obtain Passport for occasional out of country travel required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License strongly preferred.
