Job Title: Quality Supervisor

Location: High Point, NC

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday)

Job Summary:

Aegis Worldwide is a recruiting firm that specializes in the manufacturing and engineering space. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Supervisor to join our manufacturing client in High Point, NC This hands-on position requires a proactive individual who will actively identify and address quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of quality leadership experience or be a seasoned quality technician ready to advance to a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Oversight: Supervise and manage a team of 15 quality inspectors, ensuring compliance with quality standards and protocols.
  • Issue Identification and Resolution: Actively identify quality issues on the production floor and develop effective solutions through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Training and Development: Mentor, train, and develop new and existing employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Internal Auditing: Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues and enhance overall product quality.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of quality issues, corrective actions, and audit results. Prepare and present reports to management as needed.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department and across the production floor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality leadership role or extensive experience as a quality technician with the readiness to step into a supervisory position.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and train a team effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Internal auditing experience is a plus.
  • No degree required, but relevant certifications or training in quality management is advantageous.
