VAC Motorsports is the combination of Verna's Auto Clinic (V.A.C.), established in 1984, and Milano Engine and Machine Corp., a multi-generation specialist of machine work and engine building established in 1963. We are a family-owned business that has been supplying the aftermarket racing industry for decades with precision components and custom builds.

We have been growing at an aggressive pace and are looking to grow our team Our manufacturing group is currently seeking an experienced Engine Builder/Machinist to join us at our new facility in Hainesport. The primary responsibilities for this position include: tearing down, preparing, and cleaning engine components; performing various machining activities, such as grinding valves, cutting seats and valve guides, and surfacing cylinder heads; and assembly of complete engines.

Education, Experience, Skills & Abilities:

• 5+ years of engine building experience.  Knowledge of the BMW platforms is a plus.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of inspection equipment and procedures.
• Strong understanding of overall engine function.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of engine component assembly.
• Understanding of engine component fit and function with tolerancing in mind.
• Understanding of engine shop machinery.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to recognize, develop, implement continuous improvement projects.
• Strong organizational skills.
