General Job Description
To process product inventory and orders, as well as, assist customers in the store and with classes during store hours. To also be a member of the team and provide general assistance when needed.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Process new product inventory
- Process orders via Etsy, Big Commerce, Artful Home, Square and others.
- Provide prompt customer communication and troubleshoot when needed
- Be present during store hours to greet and assist customers with the selection of merchandise, product education and checkout.
- Pre and post glassblowing class preparations.
- Clean and stock the shipping room, checkout, gallery, and guest bathroom
Minor Duties and Responsibilities
- General office tidiness and administrative assistance when needed.
- General assistance in the preparation and execution of public events, including but not limited to the Handblown Glass Pumpkin Patch and Ornament Extravaganza.
- Occasionally attend farmers markets or pop-up events on behalf of 2BGlass or Encased Memories in coordination with the team.
Qualifications for the Job
Preferred Experience:
- Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ecommerce platforms such as Square, Big Commerce, Etsy, Artful Home and others
- Shipping experience
- Computer savvy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Friendly, respectful, and gracious written and verbal communication.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime during events and seasonal rush.
