Estimating Assistant

Job DescriptionJob Description

This position reports to the Estimator

Assist with gathering estimates for materials, labor, and equipment time for projects based on construction codes and specifications

Review plans and specifications to determine appropriate methods of construction

Apply knowledge of construction materials and trades to calculate costs of building projects

Prepare contract pricing proposals for a variety of construction projects

Prepare contractor bidding documents per specification for each project

Organizational skills required

Proficient in computer applications such as: Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook.

Ability to learn new software

Outstanding communication
