Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00am 4:00pm
Requirements:
- Active OR Pharmacist License
- At least 2 years in a Hospital Setting
- Acute care hospital setting experiences preferred
Job Duties:
- Reviews and interprets medication orders for inpatients and outpatients as needed.
- Prepares and/or checks medications prior to distribution of drugs and medications to various offices, clinics, and ambulance services
- Counsels patients being discharged from the hospital related to medication management
- Inspects pharmacy inventory to assure that drugs are maintained according to departmental policy and procedures.
