SkySource Solutions Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Oregon, OH. This position will be responsible for assuring that the company’s products meet all quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing and quality assurance, and will be willing to learn new skills and The hours are Monday – Friday from 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM. The candidate may be expected to work one (1) Saturday per month, but only if the need arises. Onsite interview.
Pay rate starts out at $18.50 with full benefits and weekly pay and benefit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspects incoming and outgoing material for defects, rejects, and or nonconforming material.
- Performs inspection of incoming raw materials and samples of finished products.
- Reviews all incoming product samples for defects, rejects, or nonconformances.
- Performs quality assurance testing on incoming raw materials and finished products.
- Reviews all incoming raw material samples for defects, rejects, or nonconformances.
- Reviews all outgoing raw materials and finished goods for defects, rejects, or nonconformances.
- Reviews all outgoing product samples for defects, rejects, or nonconformances.
- Reviews all incoming raw material samples for defects, rejects, or nonconformances.
- Reviews all incoming product samples for rejections or nonconformances.
- Reviews all outgoing raw materials and rejected finished goods.
- Performs quality assurance testing on outgoing raw materials and rejected finished goods.
- Completes any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Competencies: Qualified candidates must have a knowledge of quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will possess a positive attitude with a willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail is a must. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must be able to work in a cold environment (cold room). Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
