As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions to enhance our production processes.

Responsibilities:

Programming PLCs:

  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot control systems.
  • Design and program PLCs to automate manufacturing processes efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley systems

Capital Project Leadership:

  • Lead capital projects from the initial concept phase to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.

Design Experience:

  • Utilize your design expertise to create and optimize automation systems, ensuring they align with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Experience with AutoCad Electrical.
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings and specifications for automation components.

HMI Development:

  • Design and implement Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for user-friendly control and monitoring of automation systems.
  • Ensure HMI designs enhance user experience and contribute to overall system efficiency.

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of automated systems.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation enhancements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in electrical engineering.
  • Extensive experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs.
  • Strong design skills with the ability to create detailed engineering drawings.
  • Proven leadership in managing capital projects from conception to completion.
  • Experience in developing Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
