Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The Medical Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be customer service-oriented, and possess a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collect and verify patient information and insurance details.
• Schedule patient appointments and confirm upcoming appointments.
• Answer phone calls, route calls to appropriate staff, and take messages as needed.
• Maintain and update patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Manage the waiting area and ensure it is clean and organized.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Provide administrative support to medical staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant Diploma/ Certificate
• Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and billing procedures.
• Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
