As a Card Services Specialist, you will need to have attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and a friendly demeanor when assisting in solving issues for our members, as well as:
· Work disputes and fraud cases by Members while delivering outstanding and friendly service.
· Manage all Card Services including plastic stock management, compromised card alerts, new account creation, charge-offs and account closures, and other data-entry related tasks as needed
· Assist staff and Members with all Card Services related needs including technical issues, enrollment, access, training on card products.
· Prepare and maintain accurate records and systems, ensuring all card-related information is documented and readily accessible.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software products.
· Excellent verbal and written skills.
· Ability to meet deadlines and a high level of organization.
Qualifications
The Card Services Specialist is a professional who is expected to always act as an ambassador of Towpath Credit Union. The Card Services Specialist must work within all rules, regulations and laws, including passing applicable background checks and uphold confidentiality.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong reasoning ability to independently assess a situation and determine what the best course of action is for the member and credit union.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Windows and Office, as well as Credit Union systems.
