Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Helper to assist the Maintenance Technician with the performance of necessary work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings in repair. In some situations, employee will use independent judgment when making decisions that require the application of procedures and practices to specific job situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
  • Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
  • Order and replace broken parts or equipment
  • Maintain a clean and a safe work space
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
  • Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Basic plumbing ability
  • General carpentry knowledge desired but not required
  • basic knowledge of industrial electrical
  • Some welding
  • Ability to handle physical workload
