Job DescriptionJob Description

The 1st shift Warehouse Associate will offload oil from tankers and trailers working with Senior Warehouse Lead and other departments ensure oil transfer is as per company and regulatory requirements. Responsible for Tank Farm cleanliness, organization, and compliance. Maintain storage yard and contents. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receives oil rail tankers and trailers.
  • Pulls oil sample for Quality Control.
  • Completes bulk tank receiving procedure and checklist, and other applicable paperwork.
  • Ensures spill control supplies are always present, wear mandatory PPE as directed.
  • At-site oil transfer monitoring from start to finish.
  • Responsible for Tank Farm, Rail area, and surrounding area cleanliness, organization, safety, compliance.
  • Assist as needed with storage yard organization, cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
  • Warehouse inbound, outbound, internal movements, physical inventory, GMP and all other regulatory compliance. Assist in audit-readiness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or (combination of education credits and relevant full-time experience).
  • English Language (Speaking/Listening); Spanish a plus
  • Knowledge:  Familiarity with machinery and equipment such as hoses, pumps, valves, rail cars, trailers. Regulatory law experience, understanding methods for ensuring quality and integrity of bulk items,
  • Skills: Reading comprehension, active listening, speaking, business writing, problem solving, coordination, service orientation, multitasking
  • 2 years forklift experience.
