Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and Manager, the warehouse associate will perform general warehouse duties. This will include but not limited to, receiving, shipping, picking, reworking finished goods, and general warehouse maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ability of working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments.

· Properly record incoming and outgoing shipments in ERP system.

· Communicate effectively with team and outside carriers

· Ability to operate electric pallet jack safely.

· Ability to palletize up to 50 lb. cases continuously throughout shift

· Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed

· Ability to work any shift, weekdays and weekends and overtime as needed

· Adherence of the Company’s Quality Assurance Program – Good Distribution Practices

· Other duties as directed by warehouse supervisor and manager

Qualifications & Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
