Health Unit Coordinator - Nights
Pay Range: $17.28 - $23.33 per hour
Full Time: Friday-Sunday (.8FTE)

Windom Area Health is seeking a full-time Health Unit Coordinator to support our nursing units (.8 FTE). The position serves as a multipurpose support to nursing staff; assisting with direct patient care, registering patients, cleaning instruments, stocking, answering phones and greeting visitors. CNA, Medical Assistant or medical secretary background preferred, but not required. Experience in healthcare preferred. This position will work mostly night shifts (7pm-7am) Friday-Sunday, and rotating holidays.
About Windom Area HealthWindom Area Health (WAH) is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. The hospital serves Windom, Mt. Lake and the surrounding areas. Windom Area Health provides specialty outreach services on a regular basis including cardiology, hematology/oncology, podiatry, general surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology, pulmonology, urology and occupational/speech/physical therapies. Emergency room, laboratory and imaging services are also available 24 hours a day.
Our mission is “Dedicated to Health”, which directs our decision making and services on a daily basis. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.
