Job Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Human Resources/Payroll Coordinator to join our team at Windom Area Health. This full-time opportunity will serve as the main contact for managers and employees related to payroll, timecard, and benefit questions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and promote a comprehensive benefit package for employees, leading the annual open enrollment process.
  • File governmental filings and payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Participate in the onboarding and recruiting process.
  • Develop and maintain regular and ad hoc reports for HR and accounting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in business, accounting, HR, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in payroll and HR functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail.

About Windom Area Health:

Windom Area Health is an 18-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Windom, MN. We provide specialty outreach services, emergency room, laboratory, and imaging services 24/7. Our mission is 'Dedicated to Health,' guiding our decision-making and services daily. We have a management agreement with Sanford Health and are owned by the City of Windom.

  • Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday.
