BASIC FUNCTIONS 

The primary focus of this role is to facilitate local and regional customers within an 80-mile (occasionally further) radius of South Bend IN, utilizing the capabilities of North American Signs’ Regional Services Division.  Primary responsibilities include administration of sign projects, from origination through completion and installation.  This position requires continual learning and diligence to conduct business in accordance with established guidelines and company standards. For the Regional Coordinator position, office presence is expected. This is not a remote position.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1.      Working directly with regional customers and propose solutions that are compliant with appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.

2.      Prepare customer proposals and receive their approval.

  1. Works in an environment that is dependent on cross functional cooperation, e.g., Customers, Installers, Designers, General Contractors. 

4.      Ensuring accuracy of all documentation for completion of signage.

5.      Coordinate and monitor production schedule, ship dates and installation dates for projects to ensure customer deadlines are met.

6.      Communicates to and works with the Director of Regional Services to resolve unique customer issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

7.      Help to meet or exceed sales goals and objectives.

  1. Remain current in the industry with best practices, new technology and service offerings.
  2. Receive and process purchase orders, work orders, and work requests from external and internal customers.
  3. Ensure all municipal approvals, permits, inspections and follow ups are obtained prior to commencement of all work.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of all job documentation including timely and accurate invoicing of all work.
  5. Site visits and some surveying.
  6. Other tasks as assigned.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1.      Ability to read blueprints, and a general understanding of construction terms and processes.

2.      Possession of exceptional communication, negotiation and closing skills.

3.      Knowledge of Sandler system a plus.

4.      Experience using Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.

5.      Sign Industry experience a plus.

6.      Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

7.      Ability to learn and navigate. NAS (proprietary software).

8.      Ability to multi-task.

9.      Organized.

10.  Detail oriented.

11.  Strong oral and written communications.

12.  Knowledge or ability to manage budgets.

13.  College degree preferred.

4.      Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

5.      Proficient hand/eye coordination required to type while talking on the phone.

6.      Cross uneven ground, maintain good footing while navigating through construction sites, etc.
