Location: Lawrence, MA

Compensation: $25.00/hr to $35.00/hr depending on experience

Schedule: 12:00PM - 8:30PM, Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on industrial laundry machinery (washers, dryers, press machines) with minimal supervision.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, devising effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
  3. Independently conduct preventive maintenance inspections to identify potential problems and ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  4. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications as necessary.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing maintenance procedures and protocols to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, including work orders, repairs, and inventory management.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; preferred technical or vocational training in a relevant field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within an industrial setting, preferably in the laundry industry.
  3. Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  4. Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams related to laundry equipment.
  5. Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make efficient decisions.
  7. Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate maintenance records.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
