CONTRACT-TO-HIRE: Part-Time Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist (9713)
Our client, located in Coppell, is looking for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Data Entry Specialist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.
This role would be 24 total hours per week and onsite on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Key Qualifications:
- Data entry skills are required
- An Accounts Payable (AP) background is helpful but not required
- Must be experienced with Outlook, basic Excel, and Word
- Personality is key. We are looking for a professional communicator, independent worker, and problem solver.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the processing and payment of invoices, generating reports, and various other accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices including obtaining proper approvals
- Verifying account coding and agreement of invoice amounts to contracts
- Verifying mathematical accuracy of support
- Route invoices to proper approver
- Review document history (test for double payments)
- Track unapproved invoices
- Create and maintain vendor setup
- Special projects and Ad hoc tasks
Additional Qualifications:
- One to three years of relevant experience is required
- Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Basic typing and 10-key by touch
- Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new software is required
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management – internal and external
- Team player
