Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Contractor who has experience as a Seamstress/Tailor to work with our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in alterations, tailoring, design and garment construction. If you have a passion for clothing construction, design and customer service, this role is for you.

 

Possible duties (assigned work will vary based on skillset)

-Fittings for both off the street and contract clients

-Alteration of ready to wear, suiting and formal garments

-Manage and oversee garment construction projects from beginning to end

-Ensure all work is completed on time and within budget

 

Qualifications

- Previous experience in garment construction or fashion retail preferred
- Proficiency with sewing machines and the ability to sew accurately
- Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
