LOCATED IN BARRY, IL. We are an Agri-chem retailer seeking a nurse unit driver to join our team We provide crop protection, fertilizer and seed to growers in the area. The position requires a CDL A but only a truck driving position appx. 90-100 days a year, tendering chemical mixtures to sprayer rigs in grower fields. The remaining time will be spent at the facility performing plant and equipment maintenance, packaging items for shipment, delivery or customer pickup & general operational duties. Position is local and home daily, M-F, 8-5 + occasional OT. Paid weekly (direct deposit), paid vacation, tuition reimbursement, company paid medical insurance for employee.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
  • Follow DOT & DOA safety regulations
  • Maintain equipment and facility according to EPA standards
  • Practice safe handling & storage procedures regarding agri-chemicals

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
  • Commercial driver's license
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic
  • Reliability
  • Ag knowledge preferred but not required
