Physician Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a Physician Outreach Specialist responsible for nurturing physician relationships and advancing programs to enhance market presence and prevent referral leakage. This role involves facilitating the establishment and continuous management of referral partnerships within the DLCF.
The Physician Outreach Specialist will also contribute to formulating and leading the implementation of outreach strategies for various service lines. This includes crafting targeted messages to promote DLCF physicians and clinical offerings, reinforcing the involvement of clinicians in the referral process, and measuring the effectiveness of initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Foster and maintain connections with physicians and healthcare providers within the DLCF.
Develop and execute physician outreach plans to amplify referrals, mitigate leakage, and enhance care continuity within the DLCF.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager to conduct market analysis for refining outreach approaches.
Establish standardized procedures for onboarding and outreach related to assigned providers. Strengthen clinical participation in the referral process and surpass designated performance metrics. Drive the implementation of these strategies throughout the division.
Utilize both data analytics and field insights to gather provider feedback on outreach endeavors and assess the impact of outreach programs.
Contribute to creating tailored messages that educate referring providers about the excellence and services of clinical programs. Deliver or co-deliver presentations to providers and provide guidance to junior staff in content development and delivery.
Work alongside CS Marketing and IT to produce informational materials and maintain a visible online presence.
Lead outreach initiatives directed at employers, brokers, and the community.
Play a role in planning Medical Network events within specified timelines and budget constraints.
Manage a roster of physicians and/or CRM tools.
Assume an active leadership position within the department and
mentor junior staff.
Travel locally to established and targeted markets for physician,
employer, and community outreach and meetings. Occasional travel to physician recruitment conferences might be necessary to assist the Physician Recruitment Manager.
Oversee all aspects of event coordination, from initial inquiries and menu planning to guest lists, event execution, follow-up, reporting, and billing
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Science, or related fields.
Master's degree in areas like Public Health, Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related fields is an advantage.
2-4 years of experience in healthcare within a health system, hospital, or medical group environment is required.
Familiarity with physician recruitment and related relations activities. Proven experience in coordinating, managing, and executing on-site events.
Understanding of healthcare recruitment and operations.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, discretion, sound judgment, and
adaptability in diverse situations, while upholding confidentiality.
Knowledgeable about organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting and handling multiple
responsibilities concurrently.
