Major Industrial Distribution and Contract Manufacturer seeks a Senior Sales Engineer - Technical Sales professional to join their team. Qualified Candidates will have a related degree and 5+ years in a technical sales related role supporting the sales, customers and manufacturing teams. Engineering background highly desired. Solid communication skills along with excellent computer skills including ERP and CMS systems. Experience working with customers, designers, manufacturing, SCM and project managers desired. In this role you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and customers. Your primary focus will be understanding customer needs, presenting product solutions, and driving sales growth.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with the sales team and identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts internally and externally
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and bids
  • Manage customer forecasts to assure inventory levels are adequate
  • Manage Client expectations and sell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Understand CAD Data, SolidWorks and Blueprints
  • Project manage multiple projects simultaneously
