Shift: 1st Shift

Job Description:

  • Seeking a Design Drafter III with 8-10 years of experience to join the Equipment Development Group at our Danvers Technology Center. Responsibilities include designing tooling, fixtures, and electromechanical machinery using SolidWorks. The role involves collaborating on new processes like lasers and utilizing additive manufacturing resources.

Must Have:

  • SolidWorks, tooling, fixtures, machine design

HM's Top Needs:

  • Tooling/Fixture Design with SolidWorks
  • Electromechanical Design of mechanisms and machinery
  • Experience with the design, procure, and build process of machinery and fixtures

Responsibilities:

  • Concept layouts and detailed design of jigs and fixtures
  • Manage PDM for design documents
  • Assemble machinery and operate additive manufacturing and laser machinery
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert in design-related meetings
  • Create detailed engineering drawings using CAD tools

Required Education: High School Graduate
Experience: 8-10 years

Additional Details: This role offers autonomy in technical tasks under limited supervision, including project management and problem-solving. Communication skills are key for internal interactions and technical information exchange.
