Mfg- Senior Buyer

Job Summary:

Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for our company, ensuring that you are optimizing the cost, cash, quality and service.

Functions:

Organizes and directs the personnel engaged in purchasing materials, supplies and services. 

Evaluates quotations to ensure quality, price, delivery and service.

Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and service at competitive prices.

Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices.

Dispatch and print pack lists for outside services.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Some experience in machining techniques

Ability to maintain a positive attitude

Problem solver

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Computer Skills
