Controller transitioning to CFO

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented Controller who is ready to take the next step into the role of Director – Finance and Support Services “D-FSS” and help drive our company to new heights.
Position Overview: We are searching for a person with a keen eye for analysis, proven leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications. As D-FSS, you will play a pivotal role in the financial future and growth of our company while providing strategic guidance to our executive team and weaving the financial thread throughout the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, providing actionable insights to optimize operational performance
- Conduct in-depth analysis of key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for operational excellence
- Utilize and install Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI and Excel, to create dashboards and reports for data-driven decision-making
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
- Partner with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position
- Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications; experience with Power BI preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
