PG Golf LLC is looking for a quality individual to fill the roll of Setup Associate for our golf ball refinishing operations.

Summary:

This critical role will coordinate activities with refinishing production to meet all specifications and quality requirements. This role will be responsible for the finished product by directly applying the paint coating to each golf ball. The ideal person will communicate the needs of the refinishing operations by recording daily activities and planning for future production requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Set up spraying equipment, and control vision systems for paint booth operation.

2. Record daily operating procedures and communicate daily production requirements.

3. Record compliance and follow special waste procedures.

Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures.

5. Prepare paint spray equipment for daily production runs.

Assist painter in pre-paint blending needs.

7. Coordinate with production team and coworkers to meet daily production goals.

8. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers and power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning duties.

9. Work closely with production team and coworkers to meet deadlines.

10. Track raw materials and promptly notify proper team members of reorders.

11. Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.

12. Coordinate with the QA Engineer to consistently produce a quality finished product

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Experience: Must have prior Paint Spray experience or hold a current certification in Robot Paint Spray.

  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Advanced knowledge in Paints and Coatings manufacturing processes or,

  • Prior experience in vehicle paint process is a preferred

  • Demonstrate willingness to work with others to achieve common goals

  • Ability to receive directions and work well with others

  • Strong communications skills

  • This is an hourly position.

  • Project work may require weekend and extended days to meet project deadlines.
