Position Overview

VISITING ANGELS is a locally operated, family-oriented home care agency seeking skilled, empathetic, and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to become part of our Nurse Registry.

As an independent contractor, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, allowing you to establish your own schedule and determine your compensation. Our supportive office team will assist in coordinating your schedule according to your expertise, needs, objectives, and availability.

  • Immediate Need for Clients: Shifts available ranging from 4-5 hours to 8-12 hours.
  • New Clients Ready for Care: Opportunities available right away.
  • Professional Support: Work alongside a responsive and dedicated office staff.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Enjoy the freedom to choose your working hours.
  • Meaningful Work: Engage in rewarding caregiving that makes a difference.
  • Variety of Schedules: Weekday, weeknight, and weekend shifts available.

Client Availability: We have clients throughout Pasco, including East Pasco and North Pinellas County.

Requirements for Nurse Registry Membership:

  • Valid CNA license or Home Health Aide certificate with a minimum of 40 hours of training.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
  • Valid driver's license, Social Security card, and auto insurance.
  • Voided check for Direct Deposit setup.
  • Health statement issued within the last six months, confirming absence of communicable diseases.
  • Professional liability insurance certificate.
  • Level 2 background screening (if more than 90 days have elapsed since last employment).
  • HIV certification.
  • Assistance with Self-Administered Medications certification.
  • Alzheimer's and Dementia certification.
