We are seeking a responsible and caring Before and After Care Driver to safely transport students between their schools and 3M Dance Studio. This role is crucial in ensuring our students arrive on time, safely and ready for their daily school activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a strong faith in Christ, and be passionate about working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students between their schools and 3M Dance Studio in a timely manner.
- Ensure all students are seated and secured with seatbelts before driving.
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle, conducting regular inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere during transportation, engaging with students in a friendly and supportive manner.
- Promote and model Christ-like behavior, reinforcing the studio’s mission and values during interactions with students.
- Communicate effectively with staff and director regarding pick-up and drop-off times, delays, or any concerns.
- Assist with the supervision of students before and after transport, ensuring a smooth transition between the vehicle and the studio.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and studio policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience driving children or working in a childcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to a strict schedule.
- A patient, kind, and nurturing demeanor with a strong commitment to child safety.
- Fingerprints required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions:
- Part-time, with hours primarily in the early morning and late afternoon for school pick-up and drop-off.
- Must be able to drive for extended periods and assist students in and out of the vehicle.
