Are you seeking a dynamic opportunity and to join a positive work environment with a growing real estate firm We are seeking a full-time experienced, dependable and hardworking Maintenance Technician with previous apartment maintenance experience to join our team. Our team of maintenance technicians are responsible for completing maintenance requests by diagnosing issues and making repairs in a timely and professional manner.
As a valuable member of our team, your role is to help maintain the apartments. In coordination with the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, you will be assigned work orders to fulfill maintenance requests submitted by tenants and occasional larger projects.

Responsibilities:
- HVAC: Ability to maintain, repair and install residential HVAC systems
- Plumbing : Ability to repair and install plumbing fixtures, sweat copper pipes; operate commercial rodding equipment; clean catch basins; repair other plumbing needs;
- Electrical: Install or Replace fixtures and repair other basic electrical needs.
- Appliance Repair: Ability to troubleshoot and repair standard appliances (i.e. refrigerator, stove/oven and dishwashers.
- Painting / Drywall: Ability to patch, install & prepare drywall & prepare and paint walls
- Carpentry Skills: Ability to install / repair doors / windows, install vinyl floors, install molding/trim, install cabinets and other carpentry needs
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Access to standard tools such as screw driver, wrench, cordless drill, hammers, socket wrenches, pipe cutter, utility knife, tape measure, pliers, etc.
- Access to reliable automobile with valid driver's license with insurance.
- On call rotation for emergencies (nights and weekends)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Honest and able to work in a self-directed, fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Must pass a criminal background and credit check.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Salary commensurate with experience. Must provide references and pass background and credit check.
