Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Diedre Moire Corporation. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated machinery and equipment in high-volume bakeries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair automated machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, depanners, pan and tray coolers and cleaners, pan and tray stackers and unstackers, basket handlers, slicers, baggers and bag sealers, machine vision and X-ray inspection equipment, and box and tray formers.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and address equipment-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of automated machinery and equipment in high-volume bakeries.
  • High mechanical and technical knowledge of equipment used in food processing facilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within commuting distance from home.
