Job DescriptionJob Description

Program director is responsible for overseeing all departments (behavioral health, culinary, nutrition, fitness, operations) and onsite operations including HR- hire, train, evaluate, terminate; provide leadership and vision for all aspects of programming, staff development, and operational efficiency; being a liaison between PFC and La Costa Resort and the community. Assess the program’s needs, program development, evaluate effectiveness while ensuring PFC philosophy is met. Build a strong team through open communication and collaborating on decision-making responsibilities.

Skills required

  • Proven track record as a successful program director, program manager, or other supervisory role
  • Experience managing teams through program implementations
  • Knowledge of current program management methods and best practices
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities

Duties

  • Provide daily oversight to insure a safe and efficient work environment
  • Maintain registration forms for all guests including those with allergies and/or medical conditions.
  • Maintain compliance regulations

· Maintain a positive working relationship with fellow staff and guests

· Provide guidance to all departments for program standards and risk management

· Be hands-on in program areas as necessary

· Conduct staff meetings and trainings as needed to keep staff informed and certified.

· Work with the Board of Directors

· Responsible that the physical assets are always maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operable condition

· Assure all staff maintain required certifications and are trained in safe and proper use of PFC

Qualifications

· Accredited 4-year college degree in related field

· Must be willing to attain appropriate certifications

· 3 years minimum experience in a supervisory capacity

· Education and/or experience in behavioral health, nutrition, culinary, fitness, and/or HR preferred
