About the Job

We're seeking an experienced Animation Production Manager to join our expanding animation team.  The Producer will work closely with the Director of Animation and upper management in overseeing the production process for animated content at Catface.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience developing and maintaining reliable production schedules and effective budget and resource management.  A candidate for this position should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as outstanding problem-solving abilities.

This is an on-site position located in Austin, TX. Some relocation assistance is provided. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US. 


What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the Director of Animation and upper management in the development and execution of an animated web series.
  • Organize and manage the production process, including budgeting, scheduling, and allocation of resources.
  • Help oversee recruiting and management of artists for 3D animation projects from multiple disciplines.
  • Work closely with Animation management to ensure the completion of deliverables on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality possible.
  • Keep upper management informed with regular updates on the status of all ongoing animated productions.
  • Identify production issues and implement solutions.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative workplace and foster professional growth.


What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years' experience as a Production Manager, Producer or similar on 3D animated productions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Art, Film, Television, Animation, or a related field preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the animation production process, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
  • Expertise in creating and tracking schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with large-scale teams
  • A working knowledge of animation pipelines, tools, and software, including Autodesk Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Experience with version control and project management software including Monday, Shotgrid
