We are seeking a dynamic IP Litigation Legal Secretary for an outstanding law firm in downtown Austin, TX. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across practice sections within the office and across the firm. Assignment includes supporting five attorneys in Intellectual Property, Litigation, and Corporate law. Responsibilities of the position include supporting a multi-attorney desk, coordinating work between offices and teams.  Your days will stay busy with exciting word processing projects, document management, client follow-up and correspondence, e-filing, time entry, and keeping your attorneys updated. You will review client billing for accuracy; make edits to content/grammar, answer telephones, fax/scan/email, schedule meetings and conference rooms, make travel arrangements, submit expense reports, maintain calendaring and handle daily mail. You will be able to show off your amazing skills as a team player, assist with overflow work, communicate with courts and regulatory offices, effect e-filings and complete basic research and fact-finding assignments. As a successful candidate you will be able to work independently, multitask effectively, demonstrate proficiency to focus on details, be a self-starter, and be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking 5 plus years of recent experience as a legal secretary, proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced formatting skills, excellent organization and communication skills, and trial experience is a plus. High School diploma or equivalent is required. A college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
