Job Description:

This position offers an exciting opportunity for professional growth and contribution to help improve the lives of congestive heart failure patients. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. The selected candidate will work with team members to oversee the full development and testing of implantable and non-implantable devices. This role demands a solid grasp of electronic principles, practical experience with electronic equipment, and the capacity to excel both autonomously and within a team setting. This position will be reporting directly to the Director of Engineering.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to create testing plans for implantable devices and external instruments which communicate with implantable devices.  
  • Create tools to make testing easier and improve the testing setup.
  • Ability to Coordinate with external testing labs and vendors as needed.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and solve electrical/software issues as they are discovered as part of the development cycle.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and firmware engineering principles and practices.
  • Communicating test results concisely and in a timely manner
  • Perform other project tasks as assigned.

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Strong teamwork and organizational abilities.

·       Demonstrated capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and eagerness to acquire new knowledge.

·       Proficiency in collaborating across departments, including Electrical, Mechanical, Software, and Quality teams.

·       Self-motivated individual adept at completing assignments promptly.

·       Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

·       Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

·       Familiarity with statistics and statistical tools is advantageous.

 

Other:

  • Prior medical device industry experience is preferred, but not required. 
  • Electrical engineering or a similar degree is preferred, progressing towards completing education.
