We are looking for a Catering Service Worker to join our team ASAP

A catering food service provider is responsible for preparing and serving food at events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, parties, and other special occasions. This individual must have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Menu planning: Collaborate with clients to create customized menus that meet their specific dietary needs and preferences.

  2. Food preparation: Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and menu specifications.

  3. Presentation: Arrange food in an attractive and appealing manner, ensuring that it is visually appealing to guests.

  4. Serving: Serve food to guests in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring that all dietary preferences and restrictions are accommodated.

  5. Clean up: Ensure that all food service areas are cleaned and sanitized before, during, and after the event.

  6. Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and event coordinators to ensure that all food service needs are met.

  7. Problem-solving: Address any issues that may arise during the event, such as food shortages or equipment malfunctions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in food service or catering is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
