We are currently seeking a Call Center Representative for our busy office in Metairie. The ideal candidate will handle inbound and outbound calls to and from customers, listening to customer needs or issues and providing timely solutions to their problems.

 

Objective of the role:

  • Handle a large volume of calls in a timely manner

  • Follow communication scripts and use knowledge of the company’s services to go off-script when necessary

  • Identify customer needs, research issues, resolve complaints, and provide solutions

  • Maintain ownership of calls including follow-ups with the escalation team

  • Recommend improvements for systems and processes to boost efficiency

Responsibilities include:

  • Memorize scripts and refer to them during calls

  • Build relationships by going above and beyond with customer service ensuring that all questions are handled appropriately.

  • Create and maintain record of daily activity using call-center database

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience working in a call center or customer-support role

  • Strong active listening skills and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
