Verifiable credentials for this position include national, state, or local certifications or licenses that a Master or Journeyman Electrician may hold.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and DOD specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Conduct electrical inspections and diagnose issues, resolving them efficiently.
- Project Collaboration: Participate in project planning meetings, contributing to electrical systems design and integration.
- Compliance and Quality: Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and efficiency standards as per DOD regulations.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior electricians or apprentices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid Master or Journeyman Electrical License (specify state if applicable).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work, with preference for experience in government or DOD projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical diagrams, and specifications.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, materials, and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety and compliance.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high voltage systems is highly valued.
- Experience of DOD 8(a) program requirements and processes.
- Certifications in specific areas of electrical work are beneficial but not required.
