General & Operations Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Mechanical

Location: Arizona (Phoenix, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Chandler area)

Description:

  • Practice, promote, and develop mentoring at all trades and manpower levels.
  • Document and ensure required corrective measures are implemented.
  • Develop and execute 'Master Plan' for projects.
  • Schedule and supervise daily and weekly work activities.
  • Requisition, maintain, and account for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor progress, performance, and quality of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Coordinate jurisdictional inspections and maintain relationships with inspectors.
  • Review and update Labor Hours/Job Costs reports with project management weekly.
  • Optimize project opportunities through planning and scheduling.
  • Assist with schedule preparation and SIP, including logic and resource/budget allocation.
  • Maintain proper documentation of the project for inspection.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and leadership for field personnel.
  • Ensure accurate cost coding of time cards and forward to the corporate office.
  • Ensure efficient project closeout, including punch list completion, owner training, final cleanup, and archiving.

Qualifications:

  • Career Level: Principal, General Superintendent 1
  • 15+ years of relevant experience - commercial construction. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of skills and experience
  • Proven expertise in the field
