Job DescriptionJob Description

Join AZAD as a System Administrator and provide Microsoft cloud engineering and cloud service-based system administration for an enterprise IT department within a regional electric utility organization. This individual will support multiple Enterprise Messaging/Exchange Online, Defender for M365, Exchange Online Protection, Teams Online, and Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync administration services. This system administrator will provide messaging system support to facilitate a sustainable, stable, and secure enterprise system on premise level servers including backup recovery, performance tuning, upgrades/patches, maintenance, troubleshooting, archiving, and litigation hold and e-discovery support.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is located in Portland, Oregon and hybrid with onsite 1 - 2 days weekly.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $56.00 - $65.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in information/computer technology (or related technical field) is preferred.
8 years of experience is required with an applicable associate or bachelor's degree.
10 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
Experience must include direct work experience in information technology performing cloud service-based system administration.
2 years of experience with scripting skills sufficient to maintain Exchange and Teams Online environment.
5 years of experience troubleshooting messaging and hybrid cloud system level problems.
Ability to interpret architecture and design configurations from vendors or other teams to enable clear implementation standards and guidelines.
