We are a boutique medical aesthetic office located in Boerne, TX and Alamo Heights offering a wide range of cosmetic and medical services. We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to become a part of our team You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Candidate must display positive energy, attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Must have great listening skills, verbal and written skills, be computer proficient, self-motivated with strong work ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
  • Triaging patients, taking chief complaint and medical history, and documenting accurately in patient's EHR.
  • Assure appropriate consent has been obtained prior to treatment or procedures.
  • Assisting the practitioner with all procedures, which include prepping the patient and preparing all necessary equipment and materials.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms.
  • Discharging patients, coordinating care and giving patient education materials.
  • Maintain assigned work area with supplies and equipment. Cleaning stocking and maintaining exam rooms, procedure rooms, instruments and equipment.
  • Blood draws
  • Instrument sterilization
  • inventory of medical supplies
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Helping with all levels of customer care including phone calls, emails, photographing patients for before and after photos, etc.

​Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Current, nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
  • Minimum one year certified medical assistant experience with current M.A. certification, is required.
  • Familiarity with medical billing procedures
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a unique environment
