Job DescriptionJob Description

EVS is seeking an adaptable, organized and self-directed Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager at EVS is responsible for overseeing the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of WMS implementations, as well as other projects including custom development, upgrades, and trainings. Serving as the primary point of contact for our clients, the Project Manager collaborates with all departments at EVS to ensure successful project execution.

What you’ll do:

  • Work with a team of interdepartmental employees to ensure projects are completed on time and meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Gather and document technical and functional requirements and define the project scope.
  • Create Statements of Work that are aligned with project milestones.
  • Develop and document project schedules, deliverables, and milestones through a detailed project plan.
  • Analyze the financial and tangible resources for the project scope, maintaining enough flexibility to revise if needed.
  • Develop communication and change management plans to ensure successful implementation, execution and benefits realization.
  • Proactively identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and dependencies associated with projects.
  • Communicate identified risks and solutions to project sponsors/stakeholders.
  • Provide monthly executive status reports on all implementations to stakeholders.
  • Lead effective internal and external status meetings; capture, store, and distribute meeting notes.
  • Hold team members accountable to processes and deadlines.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder expectations at all levels.
  • Track lessons learned and share with internal and external team members.

Required:

  • Successfully implemented enterprise software solutions such as TMS, ERP, WMS or other Enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated accountability for managing project budgets and timelines, specifically for projects ranging from $15k to $500k.
  • Thrived in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing and prioritizing 5-10 projects concurrently.
  • Proficiently handled contract writing responsibilities for consulting and development activities.
