AP - Disbursement Specialist

Century Group is in search of an experienced AP/Disbursement Specialist to join a team in the DTC area. Qualified candidates with 3+ years of accounting experience are encouraged to apply. Local candidates only. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $25 to $26 per hour.
Job Description:
3 years’ of experience in AP with disbursement experience/ high-volume transaction processing unit with disbursements being the primary focus of experience.
Disbursements.
Voiding and reissuing checks.
Send checks out through FedEx and have to keep track and a manual log of those.
ACH returns- keep track, fill those out on the log and get those reissued.
Ensure all proper support/research and documentation for all disbursements/voids/reissues.
Review banking portal to ensure previous days ACH payments posted and resolve any rejections.
Record all ACH Returns into the ACH Return Smartsheet.
Assist with checkbook reconciliation on a daily basis.
Process void check requests to ensure que is empty at end of week.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a high-volume transaction processing unit with disbursements being the primary focus of experience.
Software: Oracle and Excel.
High school diploma or GED required.
