Qualified candidates must be well versed in industry terms common in the technology sector and have work experience in the technology arena. The successful candidate will be detailed oriented and organized with robust Office 365 skills and comfortable with using data rooms and CAP tables. CARTA a plus. Responsibilities:

· Demonstrable experience in thorough legal research/analysis, and structuring, drafting, and negotiating a wide array of technology agreements, including licensing, e-commerce, service, development, and distribution transactions, convertible notes and Y Combinator SAFE Instruments.

· Experience with privacy and data security law is highly beneficial.

· Excellent analytical, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills with consistent and dependable interaction with your team and clients.

· Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships, collaborating closely to comprehend business objectives, risk tolerance, and expectations, and to provide tailored legal advice and solutions that instill client confidence in your legal counsel.

· Stay abreast of emerging trends, laws, and regulations within the technology sectors, integrating this knowledge into client strategies and counsel.

· Strong organizational and multitasking skills, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

· A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic.

· Commitment to professional growth and development and the firm’s growth, enthusiastically contributing to the team’s business development efforts, networking events, writing articles, and participating in seminars and conferences.

Requirements:

· JD from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of the Maryland State Bar.

· Demonstrated job experience and success in responsibilities set forth herein.

· Proven ability to work both independently with limited supervision and together as part of a team.

· Strong Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience, including familiarity with document black lining, naming and versioning, along with solid proof reading and editing skills.

· Knowledge of CARTA a plus.

· Familiarity with and willingness to use Zoom, TEAMS, and other virtual communication platforms.

· At least 4 years of prior law firm experience.
