Position Overview
:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a Field Technician. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology in the reality capture industry. Comprehensive training will be provided, equipping you with the necessary skills to operate our specialized equipment and software effectively.


Primary Responsibilities
:

  • Extensive Travel: Conduct extensive driving and consistent travel, up to 1-4 weeks at a time.
  • Data Acquisition: Utilize 3D and 360 cameras, drones, and laser scanning equipment to capture accurate and high-resolution imagery and spatial data across various project sites.
  • Site Survey Execution: Adhere to detailed Scopes of Work (SOW) to ensure precise data collection, including hard measurements, data logging, and site revision documentation.
  • Technical Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with on-site personnel and internal teams to coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Data Management: Perform backend tasks, including data uploads, document mark-ups, and integration of survey results into the project management workflow.


Required Qualifications
:


  • Minimum age of 21 due to travel-related responsibilities.
  • Physical capability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 45 lbs.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with potential for both domestic and international assignments.
  • Ability to work on-site for extended periods, involving standing, crouching, and other physical activities.


Preferred Skills and Experience
:


  • Surveying and Scanning
    : Experience with conventional surveying techniques or laser scanning is advantageous but not required.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical aptitude, particularly in electronics or computer systems maintenance.
  • Drone Operation: Possession of an FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License and proficiency in drone operations for photogrammetry and orthomosaic captures.
  • Global Mobility: A valid U.S. Passport for potential international travel.
  • Multilingual Abilities: Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus.


Compensation and Benefits
:


  • Hourly Compensation
    : $22.50 - $24.50 per hour for on-site work; $15.00 per hour for driving.
  • Payment Structure: Bi-weekly pay via direct deposit.
  • Travel Per Diem: $55 per day allocated for meals during travel assignments. Higher rates in high impact areas.
