Pay Range: $18-$30 per hour (dependent upon experience)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Oilfield Equipment Testing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and maintaining oilfield equipment, including PSVs, Thief hatches, Flares, VRUs, and heater treaters. The candidate will also be responsible for performing inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test and maintain oilfield equipment, including PSVs, Thief hatches, Flares, VRUs, and heater treaters
  • Perform inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Conduct testing in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of testing and maintenance activities
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

To work at Callender Valve Repair, candidates must pass a fit test for SCBA, be comfortable working in the air on a man lift, and be able to work around H2S and under supplied air. Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree or certification in a related field (preferred, but not required)
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (preferred, but not required)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to work out of town
