We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk with forklift experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing shipping and receiving tasks to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $19.50/hour

Shift: 1st shift

Location: Commerce City

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Safely operate a forklift to move, load, and unload products and materials. Ensure proper handling and storage of goods within the warehouse.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure that products are correctly stored and available for shipment.
  • Generate and verify shipping documents, such as bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels. Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with company policies.
  • Inspect products for damage or discrepancies before shipping. Ensure all items are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve shipping issues, track orders, and provide updates on delivery status.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and inventory adjustments.
  • Address and resolve any shipping-related inquiries or issues from customers or internal teams promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role is required. Forklift certification and experience operating forklifts are required. Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in using shipping software, computer systems, and basic office equipment.
    • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
