OPEN POSITION: MARKETING COORDINATOR FOR THE OAKLAND OFFICE

dsk architects was established in 2006 with a focus on education and healthcare. In 2020, we also added commercial interiors to our services. With 33 staff members, including 12 licensed architects, shared among our Oakland, San Francisco, San Luis Obispo, and Los Angeles offices, dsk architects offers the camaraderie of a small studio with the benefits and resources of an established mid-size firm.

We’re looking for friendly, ambitious, sharp-minded people ready to grow professionally and share their knowledge and experience.

dsk is committed to providing a great work environment and good work-life balance including a hybrid work schedule. Our office is bright with ergonomic electric sit/stand desks and 40” 4K monitors for optimal drawing viewing. In addition to 15 PTO days + 7 Holidays a year, our compressed work schedule affords 12 extra days off a year, allowing for more 3- and 4- day weekends without even touching your PTO.

 

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

•    Worked in the AE industry marketing on behalf of a firm with Request for Proposals (RFP) and /or Request for Qualifications (RFQ)

•    3+ years in office experience post college

•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•    Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent graphic skills – layout, design, font, etc.

•    Must be approachable – able to listen to others, sensitive to any communication style, and able to give constructive feedback

•    Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an individual to collaborate closely with our talented team of architects and designers to generate responses to RFQ’s and RFP’s, work with senior members to develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives that elevate our brand and attract new opportunities. From crafting compelling content to managing digital campaigns and fostering client relationships, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm's narrative and driving growth.  You will also create engaging content for various platforms including website, social media, newsletters, and print materials as well as coordinate the production of marketing collateral such as brochures, presentations, and project portfolios.
