Overview:

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and promoting training courses offered through Nationwide University for external clients. This position will routinely collaborate with industry experts, coordinate training logistics, facilitate partnerships with product manufacturers, and work closely with the marketing team to promote training programs effectively.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal trainers to design, plan, and organize a diverse range of video technology courses tailored for external clients.
  • Oversee all aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, equipment setup, and materials preparation, and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Establish relationships with industry-specific product manufacturers to host specialized training sessions at our facilities, offering exclusive insights into their products.
  • Engage, contract, and coordinate external trainers or industry experts to conduct training sessions, ensuring their alignment with Nationwide University's standards.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials, including online campaigns, collateral, and events to raise awareness and drive enrollment in our training programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, address inquiries, provide course information, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the training experience.
  • Assist in the coordination of internal training as needed.
  • Performs other related duties, as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not require supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment:

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely used standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Other locations may include warehouse environments and are regularly exposed to heavy machinery and noise.

 

Physical Demands:

Walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, and move continually during work hours. Is subject to lifting over 15 pounds.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours is work are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

 

Travel:

  • This position must be able to travel at least 40% of the time; including overnight, local, and out of state.
  • Personal vehicle for transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance

 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related role
  • Associates Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or a related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in a related role
  • Experience in A/V rental industry or related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
