We are looking for a Data Analyst/Report Writer to join our team

This position is 100% onsite only.

This person would be responsible to take our internal report requests from our team, and create reports from our new timesheet database (UKG AutoTime) that will be used by Supervisors, HR, and other management as needed.

This is a contract position for 5 weeks only

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create standard and ad-hoc reports in response to specific requests from management or other departments.
  • Extract data from multiple databases using SQL queries and tools.
  • Analyze data and information to identify key findings, trends, or insights that need to be communicated in the report.
  • Write clear, concise, and well-structured reports that effectively convey the findings of the analysis. This may include executive summaries, detailed analyses, and recommendations.
  • Ensure that reports are properly formatted according to organizational guidelines.
  • Work closely with colleagues, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather input, clarify requirements, and ensure that reports meet the needs of the audience.
  • Manage deadlines and prioritize tasks to ensure that reports are completed and delivered on time.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in using SQL scripts and working with relational databases such as SQL Server, MS Access, MySQL or others
  • 3+ years experience in writing reports such as Crystal Reports, ad-hoc Excel reports, Access reports and others
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, computer science or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView is a plus
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
