Responsibilities:
Transportation Services: Safely operate and maintain vehicles to transport clients to and from various destinations, including airports, hotels, events, and meetings.
Client Assistance: Provide assistance to clients with loading and unloading luggage or belongings as needed. Offer courteous and professional service throughout the journey, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction.
Route Planning: Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations, considering factors such as traffic conditions, weather, and client preferences.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on assigned vehicles, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness. Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating vehicles. Maintain a clean driving record and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
Communication: Maintain open communication with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients to provide updates on travel status, changes in schedule, or any other relevant information.
Professional Appearance: Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times, including wearing a uniform or appropriate attire as required by the employer.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and courteously. Anticipate and accommodate client needs to enhance their overall experience.
Confidentiality: Respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality regarding personal information or sensitive matters discussed during transportation.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a chauffeur, taxi driver, or similar role preferred.
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional demeanor and customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A chauffeur plays a crucial role in providing safe and reliable transportation services while delivering exceptional customer service to clients.
This is the ideal position for someone that already has a full time job and is looking for additional work. We have multiple locations in the Portland area. We have some vehicles at the PDX Airport, in S.E. Portland, and Lake Oswego.
